Newsletter

Welcome to our February newsletter. Although generally a quiet month, after everyone has spent up after Christmas, January saw an influx of stitchers avidly buying cottons and kits. Maybe this has something to do with the men disappearing to the Boro matches and the ladies having some well-deserved time to themselves, I dont know!

Not only have our stitchers been busy, but we have had to try hard to keep up with the demand for wool for our knitters! There have been a large number of newborns over recent months and proud mums and nanas have been buying our wool as fast as we are putting in on the shelves!

For our card makers, we now have decoupage sheets, stickers and other card-making items in stock for Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter, so make sure you get what you need in plenty of time!

Unfortunately, there have been no takers for the card workshops, and by what our customers have been telling us, it seems that the dark nights are putting people off. We are planning on running some daytime workshops that may better suit in the near future, so watch this space!

Thanks to Mrs Joan Simpson for her contribution to this newsletter and we look forward to hearing from more of our customers in the coming months.

Happy Valentines!
